Roy Roy Martell Mason

Roy Martell Mason (1886–1972) was an American painter born in Gilbert Mills, New York. He began his artistic career after placing in an art contest and deciding to paint full-time. Mason studied with Chauncey Ryder during the 1920s and maintained a close friendship with him. His work was first published on the cover of the Baker Gun & Forging Company's August 1903 catalogue, featuring his artist signature.

He worked as head of the art department for a Philadelphia lithograph company after engraving with his father.
