Margaret Fisher

Margaret Fisher (1898–1990) was an American painter born in Chicago, IL. She grew up with a privileged childhood and attended the University of Wisconsin from 1917 to 1921. After her studies, she pursued a career as an artist, studying under Felice Waldo Howell at Gloucester in 1924. Fisher's work is characterized by abstract paintings and architecture, reflecting her background as an economist and architect.
