Biography
Henry R. Rittenberg (1879–1969) was an American painter who was born in Libau, Latvia and later immigrated to the United States. He studied art at the Bavarian Academy in Germany and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. Rittenberg's forte was portraiture, and he was commissioned to paint a number of portraits of American dignitaries.
His work has been featured in exhibitions and sold at auction, with prices ranging from 1,440 USD to 17,500 USD.
