Biography
Elliot Orr (1904–1997) was an American painter. He studied at Grand Central Art School with Charles Hawthorne and moved to Provincetown, Massachusetts in 1924. In 1927, he furthered his studies with George Luks. His work was included in the exhibition 'Romantic Painting in America' at the Carnegie Institute.
Orr's artwork can be found in the collection of the Whitney Museum, and he had a retrospective exhibition in Naples, Florida in 1977.
