Charlotte Cushman

Charlotte Cushman (1906–1993) was an American painter. After graduating from Smith College, she studied art with Charles Hawthorne in Provincetown, Massachusetts, during the summers of 1929 and 1930. She then spent a year at the school of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and became friends with Eleanor De Laittre.

In 1932, Cushman and De Laittre moved to New York where they studied with George Luks.
