Alice Muth

Alice Lolita Muth (1887–1952) was an American painter born on February 27, 1887, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the third of four daughters to Emma and Augustus E. Muth, a founder of the United States Baking Company. In 1917, she established an art studio on 8th Street in Greenwich Village, New York City.

Her work includes still-life paintings such as 'Still-life of Oeillets and Figurine' and landscape paintings like 'Mountain Landscape'. The artist's signature is found at the lower right corner of her works.
