Karl Kelpe

Karl Kelpe (1898–1973) was an American painter born in Germany. He worked as an artist for the Wisconsin Project, Federal Art Project, and Works Progress Administration. Kelpe's work included a mural study titled 'Pioneers Tilling Soil and Building Log Cabin' for the Carthage, Illinois Post Office.
