Biography
James Fitzsimmons (1919–1985) was an American painter who received a BFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art, and an MFA from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College. He was awarded a Governor's Scholarship to the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and the Charles G. Shaw Painting Award from Brooklyn College.
