Daniel V Koerner

Daniel Koerner (1909–1977) was an American painter who worked in various mediums, including tempera. He was known for his depictions of rural American landscapes, often featuring simple structures such as barns and houses set against a backdrop of fields, trees, and the sky. His paintings are characterized by their stark realism.

Koerner's work is held in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum and The Smithsonian Institution.
