Joseph Benjamin O'Sickey

Joseph O'Sickey (1918–2013) was an American painter and art teacher. Born in Detroit, Michigan, his family moved to Cleveland when he was four months old and settled in the Polish neighborhood of Saint Stanislaus Parish. He took his first art classes as a high school student at the Cleveland School of Art, attending on Saturday mornings.

After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the Cleveland School of Art to study art and earned his degree in 1940.
