Avery Johnson

Avery F. Johnson (1906–1990) was an American painter who studied at Wheaton College and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After leaving art school, he worked as Supervisor of the United States Treasury Department Art Projects, traveling to locations such as Key West and the Virgin Islands to create series of watercolors.

His artwork is documented in various sources, but little information is available about his artistic style or signature techniques.
