Benjamin Osro Eggleston

Benjamin Eggleston (1867–1937) was an American painter. Born on January 22, 1867, in Belvidere, Minnesota, to Hubert Newberry Eggleston and Caroline Nelson Eggleston. His work is characterized by tonal impressionist paintings, such as 'Autumn in the Woods' and 'The Willows Landscape'. The artist's works have been sold at public auction multiple times, with the oldest recorded sale being in 1984 and the most recent in 2025.
