Otis Dozier

Otis Dozier (1904–1987) was an American painter and printmaker who first gained prominence as a member of the Dallas Nine, a group of regionalist artists. Born on March 27, 1904, in Forney, Texas, to James M. and Valta (Farmer) Dozier, he often focused his work on the plight of farmers affected by the Great Depression.

His style was characterized by brilliant colors and strong forms.
