Peter Dean

Peter Dean (1939–1993) was an American painter who immigrated to New York in 1938 from Berlin, Germany. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in geology from Cornell University and the University of Wisconsin. As a figurative expressionist painter, Dean's work focused on depicting the political and social events of his time, often with apocalyptic and violent undertones.
