Biography

Albert C. Runquist (1894–1971) was an American painter who studied at the Museum Art School at the Portland Art Museum and the Art Students League, New York. He worked for the Federal Art Projects during the 1930s and early 1940s, creating murals and easel paintings. His work included a Section of Fine Arts mural titled 'Loggers and Millworkers' in 1941.

Runquist's art is characterized by his ability to capture industry and labor through his brushstrokes.
